We are almost ready with preparations for winter.
Miro helped us to make quite a lot of wood in the forest. By now we cut half of it. The rest is still in forest and we will ask Jaro, to bing it down with his truck, because its quite far and it's a lot.
On 10th November Pet'o Bresnicka helped us to plough the garden with the horse. It was harder then expected, because on the old potatoes field there was still lots of weed. But Lena (the horse) gave her best and so we could make the biggest part of the garden like this. The down part we digged already by hand.
Thanks to Pet'o Banas we have already a whole for a new dwell up on the hill.
He ordered a Bagger here, which digged a four meter deep whole. We pumped all the water out, to see how fast it will refill itself. After 24 hours there was about one meter water. Now we are not sure if it is enough. So we will have to make another test with the neighbors dwell and then we will see. If everything will be fine, we will have a new, better dwell next year and in summer people will not have a shortage of water.
This month we had a male goat here. He was smelling quite bad, but nevertheless Lumiky and Rosa loved him. The problem was that only Raska should make love with him. Rosa is to old and Lumiky shouldn't get babies this year. But Raška didn't like the Zap very much.
So one day we had to see a big sexorgy. We are not completely sure if he was on Raška, but about the other two we are sure. It seems, he didn't understand his job or he was just blind of love...
At least our ladies were happy. We will see what will happen.
We also cut the goat's nails. They were quite long, but now they are nice. This stuff smelled very much. Pet'o said it's very aromatic and we could use like Maggi, but he couldn't convince us, so Bubo ate it...
Another scandal of this month was the death of a chicken. A fox or whatever killed one of our chicken. The interesting thing about it is that he did it in the morning when it was light.
Like the police we were reconstructing the crime:

7:48 Evelyn find a dead chicken! All cats are around and are eating.
We are missing two more chicken, but during day we count again and find that we only lost one. Whoever killed it, let it there.
The first snow we got at 21th November, it were about 30cm, but by now it's all melted.
Now we are waiting for the next snow. Pet'o said it was not much snow and when there is really much, we will make a way for sledges. So we are looking forward to it.
Mariana made kitchen to a teahouse, so here are now mattress, blankets and pillows. It's very cosy and quite warm.
